Booter's Family Pet Page

Boots Kult

"Boots" KULT
born 12 Mar 1990
Northern Illinois, USA

Hey, meow are ya'? My name is Boots KULT (aka "Booter"). I adopted my "Meom", Kathy KULT, over 16 years ago. Yep, I agree, she's certainly getting old! But not me. I'm just as young as I was when I was a "kitster".

I found out my Meom was putting her genealogy on this thing call the "web" (does that have anything to do with spiders?) and I thought it would be just "meowy" if pictures of us four-legged beings of higher intelligence were on the family website as well!

So if you're a Fam Pet and you'd like to have your mug (uh, "picture") up on this webpage as well, send me your .jpg or .gif in an email, and I'll be glad to add you! My email address is Booter@KKs-Fam.net. Yep, I got my own email address! Purrrrrrry kewl, eh?

Anyway, here's my kin so far:
  My Kuzzin, "Koda"
  My Uncle, "Peanut"
  My Sis, "Kali"

Kuzzin "Koda"

Koda Henry

"Koda" HENRY
born Nov 2005
Northern Illinois, USA

This is Koda, the newest bouncing baby puppy pug in the HENRY family. He's my pug-cousin-once-removed. He lives with 5 fellow furry felines (wow! Is that a feline hair-um or what!?!). Koda's pet parents are my Meom's niece, Christy (Nelson) HENRY, and her hubby, Bill HENRY.

Uncle "Peanut"

Peanut KULT

"Peanut" KULT
born Mar 2005
Rio Grande Valley, Texas, USA

Ah, and this cute little guy is my Uncle "Peanut". Just exactly how he's my uncle is still a mystery to me, since he's 1) 15 years younger than me (that's 90 feline years!) and 2) a dog! But that's what Meom says he is, and she's supposed to know this genealogy-relationship stuff, so I guess I'll just have to believe her.

Peanut's the poodle puppy of my Grandpaw Roger and Grandmaw Martha KULT. Peanut adopted them after their previous poodle, Kurly, passed on to puppy heaven last year.

When Peanut visited us back in May 2005, I (with the help of Kali) actually taught this little pupster how to jump up on a chair. He was so little that he couldn't quite get the idea that if he just used his back legs, he could just "jump" up into his Paw's and Maw's laps when they sat down. But when Kali and I showed him how easy it was to do, he caught on quite quickly! And since he was such a little live-wire and got all the attention, Kali and I tried to get him into trouble any which way we could.

Since he last visited us though, I hear he's now grown up (and out!) a bit. Peanut tells me that he just loves to run along side of the golf cart with his "Paw", to make his daily jaunt around the neighborhood. He thinks it's just "arrfy" and is one of his most favorite things to do. Along with eating Paw's raisins, that is, which is one of his favorite treats.

Eeew. Dog's will eat anything, won't they. You'll never find a respectable CAT eating raisins!! But ya' just gotta love this little guy anyway. He's such good entertainment!

My Sis, "Kali"

Kali KULT

"Kali" KULT
born Jan 2000
Northern Illinois, USA

This is my Sis, "Kali". I'm so awfully glad she came to live with us -- she's my best pal! We take naps in the same chair, and share everything together. Mom adopted her partly because she was a "special care" kitty -- she was sick because her previous family let her go outside all the time, and she somehow contacted a mosquito that carried the heartworm virus. She was awfully sick for awhile, but now she's doing really great!

Kali is the most friendliest feline I know. She helped me and Mom get over the loss of my other Sis, "Chelsea", who passed on to kitty heaven in 2004. And she's not afraid of anything -- even that monster of a vacuum sweeper that Mom uses to get rid of all our cat hair... Kali will stand up to anything!

Yep, don't let anyone else tell ya' different -- she's my Sis, and I'm proud of it!
